Residential Natural Gas Supply
Although our natural gas procurement primarily serves the needs of commercial, industrial and manufacturing organizations, there are opportunities for residential customers to “piggy-back” on specific business contracts when available. Because we deal with reputable, large volume suppliers, residential customers have the opportunity to can take advantage of certain contracts. While pricing may be advantageous, we do not have flexibility with respect to terms. There are only a limited number of agreements available that are currently running and each with different start and completion dates.
Please contact our office for available opportunities. Prior to contacting us, please verify the following:
-
Please have a copy of your natural gas utility invoice on hand.
-
Which natural gas utility provider serves your residence.
-
If you are currently in a supply arrangement, please verify the current supplier name and contract expiry/renewal date.
-
Contract duration looking for (1 to 5 years); as per above, we do not offer stand alone residential contracts, therefore terms will vary based on availability.
Residential Electricity Commodity
Residential consumers have the option to purchase their electric supply through their local utility provider or through a retailer. The major benefits of electricity supplier contracts include price certainty (paying the same price for the duration of contract) and the option to source cleaner, green energy. Sourcing electricity from a retailer involves paying a premium of between 40% and 55% over the utility regulated price.
Guidance: Although the utility price is subject to change (adjusted based on market activity and forecasts), and has increased over the past few years, there needs to be a drastic increase in electric prices to justify the current premium, therefore caution should be exercised when seeking long term electricity supplier contracts at this time.
If the objective is to save money, continue to source electricity through the utility and focus attention to simple home energy conservation measures and efficiency. Visit the following sites for detailed information on energy saving advice, programs and rebates:

If consumers want to support renewable power generation sources, and participate in reducing their share of environmental pollutants, there are cleaner power alternatives. Green power suppliers source power from wind and low impact hydroelectric power generators, allowing consumers to obtain green power, and works by displacing power from polluting sources, equivalent to their consumption. This environmental consciousness can cost up to 55% more than utility sourced power.
